Seat belt bukle emulator BMW X5 F15 USA

Switch off the ignition.
Locate the seat belt buckle connector.
Connect the seat belt buckle emulator in place of the seat belt buckle, on the vehicle wiring side. Make sure the emulator is connected to the vehicle wiring harness, not to the disconnected seat belt buckle. Below we present how it usually looks in the BMW X5 F15. If the connection in your vehicle looks the same, use e.g. a small screwdriver to remove the female pins from the connector.
The seat belt buckle emulator designed for the X5 F15 is fitted with female pins. Insert the emulator wires into the positions of the removed seat belt buckle wires.
Insert the red emulator wire into the position of the purple wire, and the black wire into the position of the orange wire.
The emulator should be installed by a mechanic or a person qualified in SRS systems.
