The emulator should be connected in place of the battery safety terminal (BST). It can be found next to the battery in the trunk.

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Find the cable connecting the BST with the car’s installation.

3. Connect the emulator with the car’s installation. To do this, cut the wire connecting the BST with the car’s installation and connect the emulator in place of the BST. Please pay attention during assembly to connect the emulator to the car’s installation and not to the BST. To connect the emulator, you can use little clamp connectors attached to the emulator or solder the wires.

The emulator is a diagnostic device, it is used for diagnostic purposes and should not be permanently mounted.

It can be used on all BMW models with a damaged battery safety terminal (BST).

The device sends information to the car computer that the BST works correctly.

After the installation, it is needed to reset the code using diagnostic software.

This device does not affect other components of the SRS system. In case of a collision, all correctly functioning airbags will be deployed if needed.
Warning! The BST bypassed with the emulator will not work!

Installation should be carried out by a professional mechanic who is knowledgeable in the SRS system.
